I was made aware of a master model builder by a friend, through email, and decided to share this amazing talent. I do not own any of this content. Please go here for more information and credit: http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/park.htm
Mr. Young Park is an amazing model builder, hand crafting every peace of these metal World War II model fighter planes out of aluminium, brass, bronze and steel. This amazing craftsmanship is quickly being lost in the US today. It is something which should never be forgotten, just like the lives of the service members who flew the much larger counter parts during World War II, and all service members who serve this nation. They served, to ensure our freedoms, so that we can do amazing things like make intricate models. Whether you are saving the world, or paying homage to those who did, every act of freedom should be respected. Let not the principles and values represented in these models be lost, as we did their creator, Mr. Park, on February 2nd, 2013.
Mr. Park, born March 5, 1935 was a dentist, and once retired and familiar with working in small spaces with precise tools, turned to these models as a hobby. All three of his models have been donated to the Joe Martin Foundation Museum in Vista, California. Each project took about 3 years. This is truly amazing work, so I will not cheapen it with more words. Please reference the link above for further reading.
